Last time I published three times of how to use internet at low cost in Japan.
This time is detail of that.
1. contract of Fon (http://maps.fon.com/)
May be always you know about Fon.
Fon provide Free internet carrier service worldwide.
If you want to contract with Fon, you have to buy Fon router and
you have to share your internet connection service with other Fon user.
Then you can use internet fluently in Japan.
2. contract of MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) in Japan.
If you have a smartphone, you can contract of Japanese MVNO.
But that have merit and demerit.
Merit is if you contract with Japanese MVNO, may be you can continue to
use internet anywhere between your trip at Japan.
Demerit is so many service plans is provided by Japanese MVNO.
And these service plans is very complicated and you should need some Japanese language skill.

1. go to b-mobile website before you trip.
And contract with Japan Communications Inc.
2. choice pick up Airport. (Pickup service fee ￥210)
3. need to show your passport and signature after that arrive at airport.

And then buy the b-mobile 1GB SIM

you can buy the b-mobile 1GB SIM from amazon.

you might want to ask to activation to electronics retail store staff.
(when you bought b-mobile SIM at that store)
Maybe that staff will activate your SIM for you.
